SERPENTINE
David Bandrowski's second album as a leader explores the versatility of the tenor banjo through New Orleans R&B, traditional jazz and music influenced by sounds from around the world.
Recorded in New Orleans, Serpentine places the tenor banjo at the center of a band of longtime musical collaborators while expanding the instrument beyond its traditional jazz role.
Featuring Mark Braud, Doug Belote, Jason Mingledorff, Charlie Halloran, Nobu Ozaki and Brian Quezergue.
